Concord & 9th Turnabout Tags and Box

Turnabout Stamps

I love the Concord & 9th Turnabout stamps. You can create beautiful and colorful backgrounds with just simple stamping, with only one stamp. I have bought a few of them now, and my favorite so far is the Lovely Blossoms Turnabout.

Gift Tags For Flowers

My mother is the one who makes sure that, everyone in her appartment building who has their birthday or is ill, receives a small present, usually flowers. She asked me to make some fancy tags for those flowers.

I immediately thought of the Lovely Blossoms Turnabout Stamp for this puspose. I chose several combinations of three colors and a metallic Embossing powder and stamped them on a piece of Whisper White Paper of 6” x 6”. From each piece of paper I cut four tags.

Die-Cut Words

I also bought several Dutch Word Dies from Crealies. I used the “congratudlations” (Gefeliciteerd) and “get well soon” (Beterschap) dies for these tags. With my Crop-O-Dile I punched a hole and attached an eyelet in the corner of each tag.

A Matching Box

If you follow my blog, you know I love to make boxes. So, I had to make a matching box. For colors, I chose one of my favorite combinations by Stampin’ Up!: Mango Melody, Highland Heather, BlackBerry Bliss and Copper.

I decorated the lid with small leave and sprig die-cuts.

Inside the box I made a devider. On one side I put the tags and on the other side some pieces of wire to attach the tags to the flowers.

My mother was very happy with the tags and the box. Hopefully, her neighbours appreciate the tags as well.
