Sprinkles and Breathtaking Bouquet
I tried my Stampin’ Up! Sprinkles on one of my favorite stamp sets from the new January-June 2020 mini catalogue: “Breathtaking Bouquet”.
I tried different ways to color the image and for this birthday card I decided to use the Stampin’ Up! Sprinkles.
First, I heat embossed the image in white on a piece of watercolor cardstock. Then, using my aquapainter and just water, I colored parts of the image with water. With one of the sprinkle colors I poured the powder over the wet parts of the image.
Now comes the hard part: waiting! When the image was dry again I repeated the steps with other parts of the image and another sprinkle color.
For this image I used all sprinkle colors: Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody, Melon Mambo and Gorgeous Grape.
Sentiment
For the sentiment I used the free Sale-A-Bration stamp set “Sending You Thoughts” (Dutch: “Speciaal Voor Jou”). I stamped the sentiment in black on a piece of Whisper White cardstock and punched it with the new Label Me Fancy Punch. With the matching Label Me Lovely Punch I punched a label from Melon Mambo Cardstock and used the Label Me Fancy Punch to make two ribbon slots in the Melon Mambo Label. I used two pieces of Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon to adhere the label to the card front.
I adhered the card front to a Basic Black mat and adhered that to a Thick Whisper White Card Base.
I love how the sprinkles worked out on this card. There must be more ways I can use the sprinkles with this stamp set …
Bedankt voor deze super mooie kaart! Hij staat te pronken op mijn plankje 🙂
