Coloring Challenge
In November 2019, I challenged myself to participate in The Daily Marker 30 Day coloring Challenge by Kathy Racoosin. So far, we are on day 23 and I have managed to color every day. You can see for yourself at my instagram account @CreaMade.
Coloring with Arteza Colored Pencils
For Day 22, I started coloring some flowers from the Pop Of Petals Stamp Set and some Leaves from the retired Stampin’ Up! Stamp Set Falling For Leaves. I used Arteza Colored Pencils to color the stamped images. I am really loving the Pencils and slowly getting better at coloring with them.
Today, for Day 23 of the challenge, I finished coloring the images. The flowers were punched out and for the leaves I used a die to cut them out. I decided to make a Christmas card with the images.
Making Christmas Cards
With the Swirly Frames Stamp Set I heat embossed a circle frame. I masked off the circle and stamped the background with the Birch Stamp in metallic ink. Then I adhered the flowers and leaves with some dimensionals to the lower part of the circle frame.
I stamped a Christmas Sentiment From the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set and embellished the circle with some rhinestones. I made enough flowers and leaves to make two Christmas cards.
So far, I am really enjoying the coloring challenge and at the same time I’m building up a nice stash of christmas cards.
