Beautiful Butterflies

I just received the “Beauty Abounds” stamp set and the Butterfly Beauty Thinlits Dies. Immediately, I had to make a card. I needed a happy birthday card and butterflies are always happy.

I decided to make a panel card with the stitched rectangles. Inside the panel I made a blue background using my Brusho’s on a piece of watercolor paper.

The front panel was embossed with the Subtle embossing folder. Now the panel looks a bit like a wooden frame. On the front I placed a die-cut from one of the big thinlits dies form the Butterfly Beauty dies. To make the butterflies shiny I put some Wink of Stella on top. The sentiment is a small word die (ENG: Congratulations) by Crealies.

I love how simple and bright this birthday card is.
