Stampin’ Up! Falling For Leaves Cards

Favorite from the Autumn / Winter Catalogue 2018

Before leaving the Autumn / Winter catalogue behind and playing with all the beautiful new products from the 2019 spring / summer catalogue, I had to post some cards made with the Falling for Leaves Bundle. It is one of my favorite sets from the Autumn Winter Catalogue. I have made a lot of different cards with this set. Some are really autumnal, but the set is also suited for making all kinds of other cards.

Leaves colored with the Stampin Blends

I made this set of four cards using four different color combinations. This first one has an autumnal color combination: Mango Melody, Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry and Blackberry Bliss. I stamped the leaves in Blackberry Bliss and colored them with the Stampin Blends.  I placed the die-cuts with mini dimensionals on a strip of Whisper White cardstock. The card base is Rich Razzleberry Cardstock with a mat of Mango Melody embossed with the Tin Tile Embossing folder. For the sentiment I used the Stamp Set “In De Bloemetjes Zetten” (Petal Palette).

Falling For Leaves Spring color combination

For the second card, I haven chosen only green colors: Granny Apple Green, Call Me Clover, Shaded Spruce and Lemon Lime Twist. This results in a very fresh, spring colored card.

A series of cards

Then I decided to make a series of cards, a new habit of mine. To complement the series I have chosen three red colors: Cherry Cobbler, Real Red and Poppy Parade.  For the fourth card I would have liked a blue version, but unfortunately there was only one blue color of Stampin Blends. So I chose Gray and Black for the fourth card.

I love how this Autumn Stamp Set can also be used for non-autumn cards. And I really love making series of cards. I hope to do many more.
